This review is from: Safety 1st Deluxe Comfort Crib Mattress, White (Baby Product) I am so pleased with this mattress. It is very firm; perfect for a newborn or young infant on up. My son is 5 months and at the age where he can roll onto his tummy but not back to his back again. With this mattress, I don't worry that he'll spend time overnight on his tummy, since the mattress is so supportive. We had another one that was just too soft/saggy and replaced it with this one. With the old one, we'd put a fitted sheet on it and the mattress would bow in the middle because the sheet was so tight! This mattress does not even budge when the sheet goes on. It's been fantastic. It's so sturdy and solid. Plus the exterior is easily cleaned. The steel guage exceeds the Consumer Reports recommendation for crib mattresses, which was a big selling point fo rme when I was deciding which one to buy.
